We have found it to be even more so when raising these small camelids. Unlike their larger kin llamas, who can be used for backpacking trips, alpacas are kept for their valuable fiber. Caring for animals isn’t for everyone, but those who know, don’t need any more persuading. Alpacas are a real joy, our continuing adventure.
